Waterlife Kids is…

SAFE

  • All kids leaders are interviewed, background checked, and trained regularly.

  • We require a registration form for each child to have guardian contact info, photography consent, and health alerts on file.

  • At check-in, each child receives a badge with their name, unique identity number, and safety information.

  • Parents receive a guardian receipt that must be shown at checkout with the same identity number as their child to be picked up.

  • If parental assistance is needed during the service, families are notified by text and/or the child’s identity number will appear on the main auditorium screen.

  • We have a safety team and a designated police officer on site each Sunday morning as well as a safety plan in place to ensure that our that our church is a secure and welcoming place.

STRUCTURED

  • Kids start their mornings in their small groups based on their age/grade level.

  • Each small group has designated leaders who remain with them all morning.

  • Each small group is staffed based on their age group’s leader to kid ratio.

  • In small groups, children discover the bible story of the day through engaging activities and group discussions. Each lesson ends with a time of prayer.

  • Once kids turn three, they leave their small group setting for 20-30 minutes to participate in large group consisting of worship music, a teaching video, memory verse recap, offering, and prayer.

  • We set an expectation for kids to "Light The Way" which stands for listening and following directions, including others, giving respect, having safe fun, and trying our best.

STRATEGIC

  • We use scripturally based, activity-driven curriculums that provide biblical understanding and practical application for children based on their developmental stages beginning at age 2.

  • Adapted curriculum, specially trained volunteers, and a support room are available to children needing additional health, cognitive, or social/emotional supports during all services.

  • Our Waterlife Kids Team want to partner with you to help lead your child to Jesus.

  • Keep us informed on upcoming events, prayer requests, and exciting news in your family!

  • Through conversations at drop off/pick up, monthly curriculum handouts, “Pre-Cap” & “Recap” cards for those in nursery, along with additional resources shared through digital platforms, we hope to provide parents with many resources.
